Hi! My name is Rachel Cylie Gross and I’m an editor, writer, and director currently based out of Los Angeles, California.

In 2018, I graduated with a BFA from the University of Central Florida. Currently, I work as an editor at Legion Creative, an advertising agency, creating social AV edits for major entertainment studios. Our clients include Disney+, Warner Bros, Universal, and Hulu.

Previously, I worked as an Assistant Editor at prominent trailer house, AV Squad. While there, I became familiar with all aspects of the broadcast, theatrical, and social world; assisted with finishing, cut my own spots, and mastered the art of preps (lots and lots of preps). In my free time, I continue to work on projects with long term friends and collaborators on short films and documentaries.

Along with my forays into the world of post production, I also have a love and passion for writing and directing. My first feature screenplay, Armadillo, reached the Semifinals in the ScreenCraft Horror Contest, and finished in the top 10% of Academy Nicholls. My most recent short film, DISPOSE (co-directed with my creative partner and BFF Stanley Swindling) is currently making its film festival rounds and has been officially selected in this year’s Eerie Horror Festival. My overall goal is to create unique, genre features like It Follows & Halloween.
